Updated

October 18, 2026: Pro purchases and the phone tab bar

Fixed

  • Pro on Android. SubscriptionPlans.androidPlanIDs now includes the Pro products, so Pro is fetched and shown on Android.
  • Buying Pro updates the app straight away on iOS and Android. subscribeMobile used to handle only the Starter products, so a Pro purchase showed up only after the next subscription check. It now looks up the entitlement for any plan with SubscriptionPlans.entitlementForProduct.
  • Phone tab bar. The Notifications tab opens the notifications screen instead of Home, and the tab that opens the plans screen is labelled "Plans" instead of "Profile".

Upgrading an existing project

  1. Add AppKeys.proMonthlyPlan and AppKeys.proYearlyPlan to androidPlanIDs.
  2. Copy entitlementForProduct into subscription_plans.dart and the new entitlement lookup in subscribeMobile.
  3. Add the Constants.notificationsScreen case to CurrentMainScreen.

October 17, 2026: Agent-ready, and current Flutter

Tests, analyzer and web build verified on Flutter 3.47.2 (Dart 3.13.2). iOS and Android builds not yet re-run on this version.

New

  • AGENTS.md: a project brief for AI coding agents. It covers the project map, GetX and navigation conventions, Firestore and billing patterns, commands, generated files, a "never do" list, a definition of done and known issues.
  • Six agent skills: rebrand-app, connect-firebase, add-screen, add-firestore-collection, add-subscription-plan and add-cloud-function. Claude Code finds them in .claude/skills, and Codex and other agents in .agents/skills.
  • Claude Code settings: a dart format check after each Dart edit, and Claude asks before firebase deploy, flutterfire configure or git push.
  • docs/ai-agents.md: a first-hour walkthrough with example prompts.
  • .env.example and a Getting started section in the README.
  • Six smoke tests that run without Firebase: cp .env.example .env && flutter test.

Fixed

  • Builds on current Flutter. flex_color_scheme is now 8.4, which needs Flutter 3.38 or newer. The app title and two slider pickers were updated for API changes in newer Flutter.
  • The web push service worker (web/firebase-messaging-sw.js) shipped with the config of a different Firebase project, not the template's demo project. It now uses the template's own demo config. If you set up web push from an earlier copy, replace that file's config with your own project's.
  • The FVM pin now matches the tested version (3.47.2), and the machine-specific .fvm/flutter_sdk symlink is no longer tracked.

Upgrading an existing project

  1. Bump flex_color_scheme to ^8.4.0 and run flutter pub get.
  2. Copy the case additions in slider_indicator_popupmenu.dart and slider_show_indicator_popupmenu.dart, and the title ?? '' change in lib/view/utils/app.dart.
  3. Check that web/firebase-messaging-sw.js holds your Firebase web config.
  4. Optional: copy AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, .claude/ and .agents/ into your project, then edit AGENTS.md to match your changes.
